Our Practitioners

Meet Dr. Sammy Oh, AMP, DNM, CBS

Dr. Sammy Oh is a leading pioneer in specific electrophysiological assessment in Alternative Medicine.  Dr. Sammy is a Doctor of Alternative Medicine Practices and also a Board Certified Specialist in Holistic Health Practices, Biofeedback and Stress Management.

Dr. Sammy, having studied worldwide, is a Doctor of Natural Medicine certified by BNMDP (Board of Natural Medicine Doctors and Practitioners).  She has created her Electrophysiological Assessment Methodology by learning advanced clinical methodology in Europe.

Dr. Sammy found her true passion out of her own experience: a long battle with fatigue and undiagnosed illness. After two decades of research, she discovered the answer she had been looking for, an accurate and scientifically valid way to measure and assess what was happening in her body.

With this knowledge, she dramatically improved her own health and the health of her family.

Inspired, Dr. Sammy made it her mission to gain expertise in what she was convinced was the next step in the development of Holistic medical knowledge and treatment. Because it was not available in Canada, Dr. Sammy traveled to Europe to further her education.

Twenty years of research led to Dr. Sammy’s medical philosophy:

What can be measured can be managed. If you don’t know what is wrong, you can’t fix it.

This is the future of wellness.

Everyone has heard of X-ray, EEG, PET, MRI and CT diagnostic scanners.  In Europe and in the U.S.A now, you hear about the BFS (Biofeedback Scan), BES (Body Electric Scan), MSS (Molecular Spectroscopy Scan) and IFS (Interstitial Fluid Scan).  These advanced and sophisticated scanners pre-assess your degree of health to learn what preventative measures may be effective in changing your lifestyle and health. These computerized scanners operate at the level of measurement of cellular division, specific neurotransmitters and interstitial cellular fluid, to produce a detailed, deep, and profoundly accurate picture of your health imbalances and wellness status.

Dr. Ibby Omole ND, MSA, MES

Ibby Omole photoDr. Ibby Omole was born in Montreal and raised in a small community outside of Toronto. She grew up in a family of medical doctors and always knew she wanted to be a doctor from a young age.  She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in biology from the University of Western Ontario. After her Bachelor degree, she decided to pursue a Masters in Environmental health promotion from York University to learn more about the impact of the environment on health. It was during her time at York that she learned about whole person health and became aware of naturopathic medicine.

Initially she was only interested in the naturopathic degree at Bastyr University but after facing several challenges such as insomnia, fatigue and digestive issues as a student she decided to try Traditional Chinese Medicine. After several acupuncture appointments, she applied to the Chinese medicine program and graduated with a dual degree in naturopathy and acupuncture. She completed her acupuncture training in Shanghai China.

Dr. Ibby started her naturopathic career with a focus in urological conditions and pain management. She was trained in Seattle by a group of urologists and maintained a practice in Seattle until the summer of 2011. Since becoming a mother, she has included environmental medicine, nutrition, preconception care, pediatrics and maternal care into her clinical focus. She is passionate about providing quality care for the whole family.  She has advanced training in biopuncture for pain management, botanical medicine for pediatrics, SIBO, prenatal and postpartum care and National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

When Dr. Ibby is not working, she is usually spending time with her husband and two young sons in the great outdoors or cooking up a storm in her kitchen.

Dr. Ibby is currently accepting patients in her practice.

Rachel Domingo, Client Care Manager

Rachel Domingo MenesesMind and Body Wellness is an important part of our daily lives now. As a Client Care Manager, I am happy to assist HMC Clients to find that healthy balance in their routine. As the saying goes, “Health is Wealth.” The healthier we are, the more time we have spending it with our family, friends and exploring the world.

I personally like to find that balance by meditating, following a healthy lifestyle, travelling, going to museums and de-stressing as I create calligraphy and painting artworks too. Dr. Sammy has given me a new perspective and learning on how to live a healthy life.
